For those of you that are new to pinklily - thank you very much for visiting! I hope you find inspiration and ideas to create the wardrobe of your dreams as well as great products for other parts of your life.
For my regular friends and fans, thank you for your loyalty and for trusting in my products as I do - they make such a difference and it's more than just in your wardrobe. Being ready to start the day loving and enjoying what you have and being clear on what you might add to your collection every now and then is what it's all about.
I KNOW for sure my products will make a HUGE impact.
So today I wanted to share a letter I received from a customer who experienced what I know happens with pinklily products. I thought I would let her words explain it better:
"Dear Sascha,
THANK YOU.
I have always loved your products since I bought my first shoe boxes about 4 years ago. I thought that was a pretty great change to my wardrobe and I wouldn't really need too much more - after all, my shoes used to be in a jumbled mess and seemed the worst of my wardrobe woes!
One of my friends is a stylist and she went through my wardrobe just before I tried them. She was pretty blunt about the state of my shoes - scuffed and in a mess. And I thought I took such pride in my things!! Well I did, but you wouldn't know from looking in my closet...
Fast forward and I have since added a few more of your products like the hangtastics (I agree with you - best hangers ever!!) and some big linen/storage boxes and the handbag garage.
So I thought I had it all pretty under control. Last week I read your blog post on swapping your summer clothes over to winter ones and making all the current seasonal appropriate clothes visible and front and centre.
At first I ignored your advice because I thought I was already pretty organised. But a week of a busy work schedule and flying out the door in the mornings said otherwise. I felt in a flap with nothing to wear - and I decided a new winter wardrobe was what I needed to solve the issue.
Then I noticed your blog again on the weekend and thought I would give it a little go. No harm in trying! I pulled out everything that wasn't winter ready and looked at what I had left. More than I thought... so I packed away all the summer things where they were least visible - in the linen box, and at the back of the wardrobe. I also used the connector hooks on the hangtastic for the first time to create more room for hanging so my winter gear was the easiest to see and get to.
This week life is different. Actually amazing. I am not exaggerating when I say it feels like a have a whole new wardrobe. I am making use of what I have and loving it! Turns out I have a lot of winter combinations after all and can see where just a few well chosen additions will make a great difference without going overboard.
I wanted to share this with you and am happy for you to post this online. Your products make it so easy to get it right. And I treasure my wardrobe more than ever.
